Welcome to Three Trees Orchard where we specialize in antique, heirloom, and unique apple, pear, and plum varieties. Our orchard is located on the Front Range of Colorado, where warm days and cool nights are ideal for outstanding apples, pears, and plums. We have over 100 different varieties of apples, pears, and plums. Ninety percent of what we grow, you'll never find in a store!

The orchard north of Fort Collins, Colorado is situated on Cobb Lake, a 700 acre reservoir that can significantly influence our micro-climate in late spring when there is the greatest potential for damaging frost. Initial planting was completed in the Spring of 2011.

We plant a few new varieties very year. Our 2023 varieties we planted were Goldrush, Redfield, Chestnut Crab, Colorado Orange, Hardy Cumberland, Newtown Pippin, Winekist, and Golden Russet. Our 2024 varieties we planted are Kidd’s Orange Red, Red Berlepsch, Lamb Abbey Pearmin, Cox Orange Pippin, Lucy Rose, and Apple Crunch-A-Bunch (fancy Goldrush). Our 2025 varieties we planted include Lucy Glo and Martha Crab.

2026 we broke ground on another orchard which includes a host of trees from Trees of Antiquity: Mutsu, Pink Pearl, Jonagold, Black Oxford, Grenadine, Yellow Bellflower, White Perimean, Splendour, Red June, Ozark Gold, Lady Williams, Atalanta, Alkmene, Holstein, Hauer Pippin, Kids Orange Red, Muscat de Venus, Orleans Reinette, Spitzenburg, Spigold, Suntan. We also planted a Ghost Apple in our original CO orchard - thank you Tim Royal!

We sell Scionwood for your own budding and grafting projects. We have over 150 different apple, pear, plum and peach Scionwood varieties to choose from when including trees from our partner Masonville Orchards.

The orchard is not open to the public.
